About the Game

Storm Eaters is a multiplayer survival base-building game played in short, brutal cycles: four minutes of daylight, then eight minutes of storm.

Survivors watching a lightning storm roll over a flooded scrapyard settlement built around a repurposed crane in Storm Eaters

The day/night storm survival loop

Daylight lasts four real minutes. You scout the drowned scrapyard, harvest timber, food, water and scrap, raise new structures and repair what the last storm broke. Then the sky turns and the eight-minute storm begins. Your settlement is persistent, so everything you built is still standing when the next cycle starts — and everything you neglected is still broken.

A cannibal apocalypse game with real stakes

During the storm, cannibal hordes push the perimeter in escalating waves. You choose each watch: fight, brace, field-repair a failing system or share supplies to hold morale. Weak links fail first, and every failure is recorded as evidence you can read after the storm.

Base-building that has to survive weather

This is a base-building survival game where the base is a small society. Water catchment, food growing, shelter, renewable power, ecology, health and knowledge all need to hold at once. Nothing is scored by a single number — a settlement that stacks everything into one clever system is the settlement that snaps.

Systems you can build

  • Crane water hoist, rainwater collection, protected cistern and greywater loops
  • Mixed growing beds, compost and food stores instead of a single fragile crop
  • Solar array, battery bank and an islandable microgrid for renewable power
  • Layered perimeter walls, salvage workshop, clinic, knowledge commons and laboratory

Co-op survival game or solo story mode

Play alone as a story-driven survival game, or open a shared settlement and invite friends with a five character code. In co-op, everyone acts on the same live settlement through the same storm. Read the story or join the wishlist.
